Knot On My Planet

"30,000 elephants killed a year? #KnotOnMyPlanet Tie a knot. Donate. End the slaughter. knotonmyplanet.org". This is how on 9th of September Linda Evangelista, along with other fashion folks, launched the fund raising campaign for the Elephant Crisis Fund - a joint initiative of Save the Elephants and the Wildlife Conservation Network. A number of artistic initiatives supporting this cause followed suit.

Linda's contribution was a reunion photo with the former so called fashion "Trinity". In an article published on people.com, Doutzen Kroes, global ambassador of this fund, explained how Linda fueled this shot idea : “I would love to take credit for the shoot, but I can’t,” Kroes confesses. “I’m not sure who exactly thought of it, but I’m sure it was Linda! When she heard about #KnotOnMyPlanet she didn’t hesitate to not get involved — and no one really says ‘no’ when Linda calls!”.

In an interview for Vmagazine, Linda further explains how it felt to be working again with this familiar team : Patrick Demarchelier, Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, Oribe, Fulvia and Pascal Dangin: "felt like a family reunion".
